December's Post
Well, work has taken over again, but I have managed to scrape up a post. Happy Holidays everyone. Hope you have a great upcoming New Year.
New posts will be a weekly thing coming up in January. Every Friday I will have a new Babble posted. :-) However, right now, too much work and too little pay.
Til the new year, peace!

Alot of Updates!
Well, as of recently, I haven't been able to post due to the extreme amount of work I have been at and relationship issues. Since that is now out of my mind and I have been online seeing what the events of the 21st century are, I'd like to post about some of the things that are happening...
1 - Google Mail (GMail) is now 5 years old. I remember my first GMail account, it was the first year of college actually. It was only 1GB of space, and that was billions compared to Hotmail's great 50MB, and the local ISP's 20MB. I remember it so fondly, and I still have the account kicking around too. It's around the same time that 80GB hard drives were all the rage and flash drives came in the maximum size of 256MB (I should know, I bought a 128MB one for around $40-50).
2 - Intel and AMD friend up a bit... They are two different CPU manufacturers, and now they have peace agreements? What is this all about anyway? Who cares, a CPU is a CPU, weather it is an AMD or Intel, it does one job, boots the PC.
3 - (Another) New Phone: Do I need to say more? Blackberry 7250e. Oldschool but it works great. I love the device. Still prepaid.
4 - College... Might be going back this September, depending on my CAAT score. Going to do that next month and apply. Who knows. I might get somewhere in life. :-)
Thats all for now folks. Trying to keep everyone informed.

Finally, only 5 more days!
Well folks, its only 5 more days until my parents finally gets highspeed. After months of nagging... MONTHS of nagging them to get highspeed, finally they decided to get it. A long wait for just a basic thing as that. Thank the lord my parents weren't getting a new house, else it'd never been built. :-P
I will be posting online when I'm out there, computers are waiting for me... ;-) The ranting shall begin...

Epic Sleeping
Due to the extreme exhaustion that I am suffering from 5 hours of sleep, 8 hour shift, and insomnia (plus the fact that nothing critically f**ked up happened today with technology), I am substituting this post with a random dance...
*jigs*
Night all, and sleep well!

Double-Bluescreen!
Well, today I decided to "twiddle" with a few settings. Hooking up two unsupported video cards in the same system. Unfortunately, that didn't work out so well. As I was doing this, the system decided to blue screen. Both monitors had two different blue screen messages. How f**king screwed up is that?! Leave it to another EPIC FAIL by Microsoft. Hey, where'd my Ubuntu CD go...
ARCNET...
Who in the love of f**k still uses ARCNET? Sweet Christ, a technology older than Buckleys goat (by the way, his goat has passed away, god bless and let the poor soul rest in peace) and its still used widely on the older Point of Sale systems at my workplace. Unhook a printer, and your monitors get disabled...
Recently our printer failed, in which we needed to repair. Now, these Point of Sale systems are quite old, no real manufacturing date due to the face it was in the Pre-Jesus era (BC for the Christians, BCE for who aren't). Luckily, we got a loaner right now, and everything is "functioning", oh wait, nevermind... Oh well, can't win them all.

First Post...
Good Evening folks. At this time, I'd like to introduce myself as the Evil Babbling Geek, properly known as Kyle.
Since I've started with computers, people have heard my cries of terror, pain, suffering, and upright most distinguished babbles of testing and fixing computer products and software.
From time to time, I will try new and old software. From betas that turned to the best thing since sliced cylindrical slabs covered in a fine dye which is then covered in a reflective silver-like substance for reflection with a hole in the center, or for you "computer illiterate", CDs.
Please, keep watching for random babbles on this blog, and see if you can't have a chuckle, face-palm, or even and eye-twitch, cause here I come!
P.S.: To my next door neighbor, watch out, your eyes might glaze over. ;-)
